Text Box: The outreach and education committee hopes to help the Lake of the Ozarks community answer the question:            "What is a Watershed?"
We will work to promote the Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance by maintaining a volunteer presence at community activities to share information about the watershed with the public.  We will also work with local school systems to promote watershed education and assist in educational activities for children.  Our goal is to reach the community throughout the Lake of the Ozarks to share our philosophy of "One Lake, One Voice."  This philosophy is a reminder of our important roles as individuals and a community to positively influence the watershed and our beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.
