FERC Application

Text Box: "Activities of the Water Quality Committee are presently aimed
At assisting the Department of Natural Resources in the
development of a long-term water sampling program at the lake.
Samples will be collected from 30+ sites from a variety of
Locations throughout the reservoir. This testing will be
conducted to monitor trends in fecal coliform levels.

In the future, the WQ Committee may serve as an information
source for lake residents and visitors with water quality questions
and concerns. The Committee may also form a monitoring group
or tie in with existing groups such as Stream Teams and Missouri
Lakes Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring to further build on the
database of water quality informational Lake of the Ozarks."
